Forest Cottage near Presteigne a secluded holiday cottage, with Wi-Fi, has magnificent south-facing views of the beautiful unspoilt Welsh Marches border country and Radnor Forest. It lies detached just 3 miles from Offa’s Dyke at the top of a track and is excellent for bird watching and teeming with wildlife. Dogs area welcome, and the cottage itself is pleasantly furnished and has a log-effect fire for cosy evenings, and patio doors opening onto a pretty garden with magnificent views for sunny days. It makes an ideal ‘get away from it all’ any time of year. Peacefully situated on a hillside in 18 acres of meadow land, this is a comfortable home in which to relax and unwind or a base from which to explore the surrounding tranquil countryside in a wonderful walking and cycling area dotted with timeless small market towns.

Knighton (the town on the Dyke) is steeped in history and the Offa’s Dyke Centre is well worth a visit before setting off along the footpath. Presteigne (one of the top ten places to live in Britain according to Country Life magazine) is a short drive away and has lots of good restaurants, shops and a leisure centre.
