Details of Woodbine Cottage
Woodbine Cottage in Little
Hereford, near Ludlow sleeps 8 people. Woodbine Cottage is a beautiful, 250-year-old half-timber holiday property. Originally part of the Easton Court estate, the house is steeped in character and history, from the bread oven and oil-fired Aga in the kitchen, through to the solid oak flooring and the wood-burning stove in the living room. Woodbine Cottage is the perfect place for entertaining, with its antique French farmhouse dining table seating 10. Upstairs, light and airy bedrooms are thoughtfully decorated with antique furniture and guests can enjoy wonderful views across open pastures to the Saxon church of Little
Hereford. It sits within half an acre of enclosed gardens and there is plenty of space for dining and relaxing outdoors. This holiday property is perfectly situated on the border of three of England’s most beautiful counties: Herefordshire, Shropshire, and Worcestershire. Although Little
Hereford is a small and quiet hamlet, Woodbine is surrounded by a wealth of countryside walks including a walk along the River Teme, past the ancient church to a wonderful pub on the river. Little Hereford is within 10 minutes of the historic town of Ludlow; steeped in history and world-renowned for its medieval castle and ‘foodie’ reputation. The antique shops of Leominster are only a 15-minute drive away and further afield, guests are within easy reach of the beauty of the Elan Valley, the
