Grade II listed Carn Brea Castle dates back to the 14th century, and was extensively remodelled in the 18th century as a hunting lodge in the style of a castle. Originally built as a chapel in 1379, its use as a beacon for ships was recorded in 1898 when stipulated in the lease, the tenant agreeing to show a light in the north-facing window. Today, it is a popular restaurant and a frequent favourite with visitors as a great viewing point.

A true Poldark experience as it is the heart of the old tin mining country.
