Salcombe sleeps 8 people. Creekside is more than a holiday home. You know from the moment that you step inside this little house, that it is much loved and very special. You can tell it is treasured by the family who have owned it for over 40 years.
A rare find in
Salcombe, the property has its own water frontage, with steps down from the garden to the water. Not only can you crab fish, or swim or tie your boat up at the end of the garden, but there is also a fantastic large sunny lawn to relax in as well as a sheltered courtyard which is flooded with sunshine in the mornings complete with large table and chairs for dining al fresco. This traditional fisherman's cottage provides accommodation over 3 floors with views over Shadycombe, Snapes, Fish Quay and the beautiful rolling countryside.
An old fisherman's cottage, Creekside would have been the envy of most of the seamen in Salcombe with its direct access to Shadycombe Creek. Today, it remains one of the only properties in Salcombe with direct access to the sea.
Located on Island Street, which runs adjacent to Shadycombe Creek. Some of the traditional boat building yards are still working in this part of town and there is a private slip and boat yard next door, which sells fresh crab and lobster, which couldn’t be more convenient!
Please note that due to the setup of the property the numbers are limited to a maximum of 6 adults (plus 2 children under 16) to make a total of up to 8 persons.
Please note the parking pass (for exclusive reserved space in Creek car park) is only available for guests from the beginning of MAY to the end of SEPTEMBER. Designated parking is not provided at other times of the year.

Ground floor:
Entrance to hall with cupboard with hanging rail and space for coats and shoes.
Open plan living area with lounge area with sofa, 3 chairs, beanbag, small window seat, TV, DVD player, dining table to seat up to 8 people and patio doors to patio and garden.
Kitchen area with electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher and microwave.
First floor:
Bedroom 2 with 3ft twin beds and basin.
Bedroom 3 with two sets of 3ft bunk beds.
Family bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC.
Second floor:
Master bedroom with 6ft super king bed (linked 3ft mattresses) and basin.
Housed in an extension in the garden (separate from main house) is a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge freezer and shower room with shower, basin and WC.
Lovely garden area with bench and its own water frontage. There is also a sheltered courtyard which gets the morning sun with table and chairs.
There is a pedestrian gate at the end of the patio, before you reach the garden, so you can make the area close to the house more child safe. Do not leave children unattended in the garden, as there is no fence between the garden and the sea and it is a sheer drop down the harbour wall into the water.
