Llangefni, and surrounded by beautiful unspoilt countryside, in the heart of Anglesey. Tastefully furnished throughout, this cottage enjoys impressive proportions with a stately home feel, and includes many original period features blended with modern styling and fittings to provide a welcoming family property. The main sitting room enjoys a picture window overlooking the spacious lawned gardens, and benefits from concealed pelmet lights to create perfect mood lighting for all occasions. The snug room offers a quirky woodburning stove, set in the wall, and cosy seating for four people to enjoy some peace and quiet. The conservatory is bright and airy with doors onto the patio, and doubles as a games room, with table tennis, pool table, and a music player with chill out bean bags for the children to relax and make their own space. A formal dining room provides a social area to eat and relax whilst the conversation flows long into the evening. For more casual snacking there is a breakfast table in the kitchen, which you will find well-appointed and equipped with granite worktops and an oil-fired AGA, supported by electric oven and hob if required. Upstairs are five well-appointed bedrooms, one enjoying the luxury of a spa jet bath in its en-suite facilities and a dressing room. There is ample parking along with two garages for storage, and the spacious gardens provide a safe haven for children to explore, though care should be taken around the waterfall ponds with fountain as they are unfenced. A summerhouse offers further seating in addition to the secluded patio area and there is a charcoal barbecue for you to try your hand at whilst the kids play football on the large lawn. The town of Llangefni is easily reached along the pavement in 15 minutes' walk, and the popular golf course can be seen in the distance. With the beaches and coastline at Benllech and Red Wharf Bay on one side of the island, and Newborough and Aberfraw on the other, less than 20 minutes' drive away, make this an ideal property to use as a base to explore all coastlines of this fantastic island.
