Quicks in Dittisham, Devon sleeps 4 people. Quicks Cottage is a Grade II listed thatched cottage in a quiet lane close to the church, village stores and pub. It has an attractive garden to the side and rear with views across the River Dart from the garden. 100 yards from the cottage is a small path leading down to the river. Minutes away is the pretty quayside where boats can be hired and a ferry boarded for Dartmouth or Greenway, former home of Agatha Christie.

Dittisham is one of the prettiest and most unspoilt villages in the South Hams. It boasts two excellent pubs, a riverside tearoom, a well-stocked village store, and the opportunity to hire a variety of boats to explore the upper reaches of the River Dart. Dittisham is the perfect place for 'crabbing' – lines and bait are available at the tearooms.

The historic town of Dartmouth is five miles away – with numerous restaurants. During the summer months, a passenger ferry service to Dartmouth operates on the house, for those wishing to escape the car. Out of season a water taxi can also be booked.
