Villa de la Rhune in Biarritz, France sleeps 10 people. As its name suggests, this fantastic villa bathes in the shadows of La Rhune mountain, in between the Pyrénées and the Atlantic Ocean just 9km from Biarritz. Just moments from a world class coastline, famed for its wild landscape, golden sand and of course tremendous waves, Villa de la Rhune offers up to 10 guests a modern 5 bedroom dwelling in a peaceful location.

Upon entry you'll be greeted by a marvellous open plan living room, into which the spiral staircase descends, with an abundance of natural light streaming in from one of its many floor-to-ceiling windows. With stylish décor and plenty of comfortable seating, you'll love entertaining in this living-dining space, especially as French windows can be thrown open onto a spectacular terrace area. There is also a separate modern kitchen and laundry room on this level.

The bedrooms here at Villa de la Rhune are all nicely presented with bright modern décor, with some benefiting from French windows and juliet balconies. Two can be found on the ground floor, one double and one single convertible to a double, both with their own shower rooms. The remaining 3 bedrooms are situated upstairs as you pass a charming study on the mezzanine area. They include a delightful master bedroom, a double and a twin, with some enjoying lovely views out onto the luscious grounds below.

Surrounded by an abundance of trees and fauna, the grounds here are a fantastic space to relax and unwind in. The huge shaded terrace area offers stylish seating and a separate dining area, ideal for cooking up some local delicacies on the Plancha BBQ. And with views out onto the amplitude of green vegetation below you'll love to while away the afternoon entertaining with friends or family as the sun goes down. Just a few steps down, you'll find a superb heated outdoor pool, with modern decking and elegant loungers, large enough for the whole family to enjoy making a splash in.

Whilst you won't want to leave this lovely contemporary haven, if you do, you'll find a quaint village just a couple of minute's drive away offering all the basic amenities you will need and some traditional restaurants. The glittering jewel in the crown of this fantastic coastline, Biarritz, is only 9km away. Whilst your nearest beach, just 6 km from the villa, is a 5km stretch of beautiful beaches from Guéthary to Bidart, offering everything a young family to an accomplished surfer could want.
