Railway Cottage 1 in Burnham Market, Norfolk sleeps 6 people. Railway Cottage 1 is a semi-detached holiday cottage located on the outskirts of Burnham Market village in easy walking distance of pubs, restaurants and shops. With its sumptuous interior furnished with quality linens, velvets and wall coverings in a cool palette of blues, greys and yellows it comes with plump sofas, roomy walk-in showers, flat screen televisions; and everything that you will need in a home from home.
Ideal as a weekend retreat or a longer holiday, this cottage is perfect for a group of friends or a family with its large open-plan living area consisting of a kitchen, sitting room and dining area; and three sumptuously decorated bedrooms, a king, double and twin, all with luxury en-suites.
In the summer months take advantage of the secluded fully-enclosed south facing rear garden with its delightful terrace where you can relax and dine alfresco. And from a practical point of view there is off-road parking In front of the cottage for two vehicles.

Also take time to visit Gurney’s fishmonger’s, Howell’s The Butchers and Utting’s grocery store, where you can buy all the fresh produce you could wish for to make your self-catering stay truly special.
The Railway Cottages are built on the land where the Railway Station used to stand, which closed in 1957. The old Station House next door has since been converted into a small hotel, now under the ownership of The Hoste Arms. You will see references to the history of the railway in photos and paintings in the cottage. From the rear garden you can see the old Railway Carriage sitting on its tracks behind gates, making this quite a unique place to stay.
