Pusehill Barn in Westward Ho! sleeps 10 people. Pusehill Barn is an attractive stone barn conversion set amidst beautiful rural countryside on a hilltop sheep farm close to the coast. A local inn is within 300 yards of the property and the seaside resort of Westward Ho! with its shops, cafes and sandy beach is just one mile away. This part of the county has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and there are many wonderful walks including the long-distance South West Coastal Path which passes nearby. A private footpath from the farm leads to Abbotsham Cliffs and spectacular views over the Atlantic Ocean. The pretty fishing village of Appledore with its narrow winding lanes and historic quayside is less than ten minutes' drive away, and there is a golf cub and excellent outdoor activities centre within a short drive. The port town of
Bideford is three miles away where visitors can stock up on holiday necessities. Local attractions including
The Big Sheep, The Milky Way and RHS Rosemoor are all close to hand. Pusehill Barn has been sympathetically renovated to create a welcoming holiday home with modern comforts whilst retaining many of the original features of the building. A spacious hallway has a lovely flagstone floor and the first floor lounge has exposed beams and fabulous views over the surrounding countryside. There are four bedrooms, two with en-suite shower rooms and a further bathroom and cloakroom. The large kitchen/diner is well-equipped and leads out through French doors to private courtyard with old stone walls. Garden furniture and a barbecue make this a lovely spot to eat al fresco, and there is access to an adjoining meadow. Guests at Pusehill Barn are welcome to explore the surrounding fields which belong to the owner.
