An ideal base for families, this single-storey holiday home has been refurbished to a high-standard and offers an open-plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area, boasting everything you could need during a self-catering break to this superb coastal corner of East Anglia.
Joining the space are two well-presented bedrooms, comprising of a double bedroom and a bunk bedroom, both served by a family bathroom.
Outside, there is a small patio area overlooking fields where you can see the sunset infront of the chalet, as well as a shared, open grassed grounds where you will be delighted to find a bar, restaurant and free use of an indoor heated swimming pool which is open from mid-May until early September.
The village of Scratby has excellent local amenities, including two supermarkets, tea rooms, fish and chip shops, a launderette, hairdresser, and a regular bus service to Caister and
Great Yarmouth.
There are a number of local attractions in the area, including
Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens, the Caister Castle Motor Museum, National Trust properties and the Norfolk Broads, and further afield is the historic city of
Norwich.
At the nearby beach you may be lucky enough to see a seal swimming by along the sea, you can also visit Horsey Gap which is around a 15 minute drive away and you'll be able to see a seal colony basking in the sun.
This lovely chalet is in a convenient location for exploring the area and has the added benefit of an on-site swimming pool, which is sure to delight any younger guests.
