Resting in the small village of Kingston, in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is this detached cottage which used to be the village post office, Shepherds Cottage.

Set over a single-storey and sleeping two guests, Shepherds Cottage is a romantic spot for a scenic trip to this part of Kent, within easy reach of Dover and Canterbury.

You are welcomed to the property with sought-after off-road parking, and a front garden with a bench so you can take your morning coffee out into the fresh air whilst your furry friends stretch their legs.

Stepping into the property, there is an open plan living space where you can cuddle up on the sofa to take advantage of the Smart TV, or rustle up a romantic evening meal to enjoy round the dining table with your loved one.

Moving through the property there is a double bedroom with a great amount of storage space so guests can unpack their personal belongings, and to compliment this, there is a bathroom with both bath and shower so guests can get ready in their own style.

Just a short walk from Shepherds Cottage, down the quiet country lane, there is The Black Robin pub which serves both food and drink, making for a great evening out.

The surrounding AONB offers scenic walking and cycling routes, heading in all directions through hills and valleys, and among wildlife.

Take a short drive into the village of Bridge where you can find a further two pubs, as well as a convenience store where you can grab any essentials you may need for your self-catering holiday.

Head North into Whitstable, Whitstable offers everything you need for an interesting stay - waterfront walks, ancient pubs, quirky shops, excellent restaurants and the beautiful stony beach and harbour.
