Fernilee is within walking distance of both Fernilee and Erwood reservoirs and the walks start from the front door. There is also a cosy country pub within a few minutes walk offering home cooked food and a warm welcome. There is a shop, pub and a restaurant 2½ miles from Toll Barn Cottage in High Peak.
