Approached by a gravel drive, and set within its own 4 acres of gardens and orchard, the house offers period features, including shuttered sash windows and open fires. The entrance hall has a sweeping staircase leading to the first floor accommodation. The property also boasts an external games room, a hard tennis court and a catering service which is available by prior arrangement. The area is a haven for wildlife, including barn owls and fallow deer, whilst the North Norfolk coastline, 14 miles, has sandy beaches, RSPB nature and bird reserves, coastal path and quaint villages with local inns. Visit Wroxham, 27 miles, which is known as as the ‘Capital of the Norfolk Broads’ and offers boat hire, river trips and waterside restaurants. Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea, 17 miles, have sandy beaches, and Wells has a working fishing harbour. Blakeney Quay and Morston Harbour, 23 miles, offer boat trips to visit the seal colony and Blakeney Point Nature Reserve. The Georgian market town of
