The spacious, detached Gate Lodge has been equipped and furnished to ensure a most comfortable and relaxing holiday as possible. Amongst the many activities available are hill walking, mountain biking, river and loch fishing, (permits available from the estate office), and an abundance of bird and wildlife all of which just add to the enjoyment of this beautiful Glen. The area is a photographer’s paradise with its outstanding scenery, coupled with the large variety of deer, pine martins and bird life it’s a must for keen photographers. A super base for exploring the Highlands, visit Loch Ness and Inverness, the highland capital, or take a trip down the Moray coastline, recently voted amongst the top 20 coastline destinations in the world. Take a day trip to the west coast and the Isle of Skye to experience their beauty. For the less energetic, sit back, relax, unwind and enjoy the ever changing vistas of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The shop and restaurant are 6½ miles, with the pub 18½ miles from The Gate Lodge near Dingwall.
