Head to the pretty Norfolk town of Aylsham and take the Bure Valley Railway, winding your way through the countryside to Wroxham, the gateway to the Norfolk Broads. Having arrived in style, why not charter a day launch or even join an organised tour and drift along these much celebrated waterways. Just 30 minutes’ from the stunning North Norfolk coastline, you will also find wide sandy and shingle beaches, picturesque quays and salt marshes to explore. Make time to visit
Cromer with its famous pier and Blakeney for a spot of crabbing. Coast lovers will be absolutely spoiled for choice, as will history buffs who will enjoy a visit to the
Blickling Estate which lies close by and, a little further afield, the
Sandringham and Holkham Estates.
