Situated in the crofting township of Staffin it is an ideal place to get away from it all. The area has so much too; the dramatic Trotternish Ridge, The Old Man of Storr and famous Quiraing are excellent for walking or Staffin Bay is only a short distance away, where you can enjoy a peaceful stroll along the pristine beach overlooking the Sound of Raasay. An abundance of wildlife can be seen in the area including eagles, fulmars, kestrels, otters, deer and so much more. The Staffin Museum is a must as it contains an excellent collection of local geological and fossil specimens. Portree, the island’s capital is only a short drive away and is the main centre for shopping, with many restaurants, craft shops, boat trips, a swimming pool and even a climbing wall. Visit castles, gardens and a whisky distillery, or get active by pony trekking, kayaking or taking a boat trip. The beach is 50 yards from Staffin House Apartment near Portree.
