Salomons Estate was built for Sir David Salomon, the first Jewish Lord Mayor of London in the 1850s by architect Decimus Burton. Set within an envious position, there are 36 acres of rolling gardens, parkland and woods surrounding you. Enjoy strolling around the estate on a sunny day following the woodland walk. This is also the perfect place for your four-legged friend too, as the park and cottage are both dog friendly. The main mansion house on the estate is keeping within its original Victorian feel and boasts glorious décor throughout. The site also boasts a restaurant, bar, 24 hour reception, gym, Salomons Museum, outdoor terrace area and function rooms which host weddings, celebrations and business meetings.
The estate is situated on the edge of the spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells, steeped in history and grand architecture. Visit The Pantiles for restaurants, shops and bars, or perhaps attend a show at Assembly Hall Theatre or visit the home of Winnie the Pooh at Ashdown Forest.
