Llangefni a detached holiday property, adjacent to the owners’ home, has been converted from an original farm barn dating back to 1720, and research shows that not only was Peibio used for stabling the farm animals, but has also been home to the servants working at adjacent Llanfair Hall. Converted to an extremely high standard, many original features have been retained wherever possible, with the barn providing en-suite bedrooms, a wood burner and a blissful
hot tub in a lovely enclosed courtyard garden, perfect to return to after a busy day exploring the myriad delights of the island.
Anglesey is dotted with prehistoric monuments and the island’s entire coastline is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, from the rocky cliffs in the north to the golden sandy beaches of the south - a paradise for bird watchers and walkers, and a perfect destination for exploring by bike with miles of peaceful country lanes. There are many lovely towns to explore including Beaumaris, with its splendid castle built by Edward I and the start of puffin and seal watching cruises, as well as great family days out including a sea zoo, butterfly farm and historic National Trust properties. Snowdonia National Park, with its wealth of outdoor activities, is easily accessible, as well as day trips to Dublin from the bustling port of
Holyhead. A shop and restaurant are 1½ miles from Peibio near
Llangefni. The nearest pub is 3 miles from Peibio. The beach is 3½ miles.
