Bike Park Wales is approximately 20 minutes away and is one of the biggest bike parks in Europe; there is a large lockable shed at Parc House to store your bikes, plus an outdoor tap to wash them down.
A 20-minute drive is Zip World Tower, the 4th Zip World site to open, and is the first to be situated in South Wales. Nestled in the Rhigos mountain range, and boasting stunning panoramic views, this adventure hub is situated at the old Tower Colliery coal mining site, and has created a new lease of life for this historic and widely-loved base.
The Vale of Neath is famous for its hidden waterfalls whilst the stunning Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains offer breathtaking scenery and fabulous walking trails. Margam Country Park is well worth a visit, with its castle, 18th-century orangery, narrow gauge railway and Go Ape Tree Top Adventure. Dan yr Ogof Showcaves are a popular attraction and also offer a location for wedding ceremonies. Quad biking, archery and paintballing can all be found in the surrounding areas.
Further afield is the stunning Gower Peninsula, Britain’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with golden sandy beaches, hidden coves and coastal walks. Abergavenny, Brecon, Swansea and Cardiff, the bustling capital city, are all well worth a visit.
