Tucked away down a private lane, it lies adjacent to the owner’s home and tillage farm, and has a large shared garden overlooking the sea, as well as a private terrace. There is a small sun room to the front, whilst upstairs is a cosy galleried living room, both with far reaching sea views. A stunning coastline walk can be enjoyed from here all the way to Cullenstown’s beautiful sandy beach (approximately ½ mile), where you can stop off to enjoy a pint at the village pub.
A short drive away are many interesting sights to explore, including Bannow Island beach where the ’buried’ city of Bannow is sited. It was here that the Normans first landed in 1169, and the area is of much historical interest as well as having a great tradition of Irish music and dancing (including the Phil Murphy music festival held annually).
