Once inside, the centrally positioned open plan kitchen and dining area, is the perfect place to gather for special times together. The well-equipped kitchen includes an electric oven, electric hob, dishwasher, microwave and the utility area houses the washing machine and a fridge/freezer. The restful living room is an invitation to unwind and to curl up on the sofas, watching a film on the smart TV with freeview, and enjoying the glows of the wood burner in the background. The master bedroom is on the ground floor and is beautifully furnished with a king-size bed and an en-suite with a shower cubicle, toilet and wash basin. Heading upstairs, are two further bedrooms and the family bathroom which has a shower over the bath. The first bedroom has a small double bed and the second has twin beds. The property isn’t completely remote though, as just four miles away lies the town of
Tavistock, with its farmers’ market, boutique shops, bistros, pubs, and cafés. The property’s West-Devon location means that it is possible to reach both the north and south coasts of Cornwall and Devon in under an hour, and of particular interest, are the fishing village of
Looe, King Arthur’s Tintagel, and the National Trust village of
Boscastle. Enjoy the 11 miles of traffic-free route The Granite Way that stretches from
Okehampton to Lydford winding through some of the most stunning Dartmoor countryside and moorland and The National Cycle Route 27 and Drakes Trail are also within easy reach.
