With breathtaking scenery set on the edge of the National Park, the cottages sit opposite Harbottle Forest where the area is home to an abundance of British Wildlife including red squirrels and otters. The area is situated in the Northumberland Dark Sky Park, the largest in Europe, and home to the darkest skies in England, a perfect destination for those keen on astronomy or star gazing. The historic town of Rothbury is only a short drive and home to a good selection of pubs, eateries and some bespoke shops. An ideal location for walkers and wildlife enthusiasts or to simply relax or explore the abundance of visitor attractions throughout what is reputedly the friendliest and most unspoilt county in England.
