The Old Guest House in Margate sleeps 8 people in 4 bedrooms. The Old Guest House in Margate; built in the 1880s The Old Guesthouse has been in the same family for 75 years. Previously a traditional Margate guesthouse, it is ideally proportioned for a comfortable and stylish holiday experience, accommodating eight people comfortably with an extra two in the lovely loft room. Having closed as a guest house in the late 1980s, the house has been lavishly restored and renovated and now welcomes guests again for the first time in 2021. From 1945 until 1988, literally thousands of people used the house as the base for their family seaside holiday and the family are thrilled to be able to offer the house again as a perfect holiday retreat.
Ideally located for all that Margate has to offer, the famous Golden Mile beach is a stone’s throw away. The old town, with its array of shops, cafés, restaurants and the Turner Contemprory is a 10 minute walk along the iconic sea front. Dreamland, England’s oldest amusement park is a five minute walk and the local shops at Westbrook are literally just around the corner!
Guests will find a welcome pack, including the all important pods for the coffee machine, a bottle of wine and other local treats.
This spacious Victorian town house is ideally centrally located in Margate with easy access to many attractions, but just a stone’s throw from the beach.. Ground Floor:

Kitchen: With breakfast area, electric double oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, washing machine and bi-fold doors to the garden.

First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With king-size bed with Smart TV and en-suite with walk-in shower, toilet and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 2: With double bed with Smart TV and en-suite with walk-in shower, toilet and heated towel rail.
Second Floor:
Bedroom 3: With king-size bed with Smart TV.
Bedroom 4: With twin beds with Smart TV.
Bathroom: With slipper bath, walk-in shower, toilet and heated towel rail.
Third floor: With Smart TV.. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack. Enclosed courtyard garden with patio, garden furniture and barbeque. On road parking. No smoking. Please note: Couples and family bookings only..
Holidays at The Old Guest House run from Monday to Monday, with short breaks also available.
