Enjoy a delightful setting on the edge of the National Forest, within easy reach of the picturesque Derbyshire Dales. This pretty location is very close to many chocolate box villages and interesting towns. Nearby Burton-upon-Trent is a town straddling the River Trent, made famous by its breweries and with The National Brewery Centre interactive museum close by, you can sample some of the many award-winning ales and learn a thing or two about the brewing process. The village of Overseal is full of history from the rein of Henry III, and there stands a lovely church with an oak tree that is said to have hidden Charles II in his escape from the Roundheads. There are many historic sites and places of interest, such as Tutbury Castle, The Old Marina and Claymills Pumping Station. Many family attractions close by include, the famous race track and museum at Castle Donnigton,
