Situated in the heart of the picturesque Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and close to the village of Luss on the western shore of Loch Lomond. Craigton Cottages offers the perfect base to explore the area or relax and unwind in front of a roaring fire. Guests will find a spacious and bright home with ample space for all to enjoy.
Cruach Dubh is a welcoming detached holiday home ideal for friends and families from which to spend time together and explore this most picturesque area of highland Scotland. The ground floor has a bright and airy living room with wood burner and patio doors lead to the garden with seating area and barbecue. The spacious kitchen has a range cooker, and is well equipped for preparing a family meal and leads to a bright dining room. There is also a separate toilet and utility with washing machine and tumble dryer, along with a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The three further bedrooms are on the first floor, two king-size bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms and one twin room, plus a family bathroom with shower.
Experience Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park at its best, with every kind of outdoor activity on hand, from gentle low level strolls to strenuous mountain climbs through spectacular scenery. The West Highland Way takes you along the banks of Loch Lomond and runs from
Glasgow to Fort William, and you can join different stretches of the route. There are also lots of opportunities for mountain biking and cycling on the national Cycle Network route 7 and fishing in lochs and rivers. Enjoy boating and sailing on Loch Lomond, relax and take in the splendid scenery on a cruise up the loch and visit the islands. If you enjoy a round of golf on your holidays there are several excellent courses locally including the Carrick. Nearby and a great day out for all ages, Loch Lomond Shores has a sea life aquarium, water sports, shopping and regularly hosts events including a farmers market. Ideal for a day out is the bustling city of
Glasgow, just 30 miles away, packed with great places to eat, galleries, concert halls, theatres and great shopping from high street names and one off independent’s to quirky specialists. There is also a rail link from Balloch and you can be in the city in under one hour.
