Tenby is a terraced property which is situated on a working organic beef farm within the quaint hamlet of Milton. As you approach this beautiful location, you will wind through the tree-lined driveway, which sweeps through to the very grand Milton Manor, a substantial mansion house which has been lovingly converted into holiday accommodation. Beech House has been thoughtfully furnished and is located within the mansion house itself, and offers open-plan kitchen and dining areas, perfect in which to enjoy a family meal together. Relax in the living room, with its focal floor to ceiling windows which maximise the stunning view overlooking the matured gardens of Milton Manor. If you explore the extensive grounds, you will come across the play park which is ideal to keep your children busy on those balmy summer days.
It is a short walk from Beech House into Milton, where you can enjoy a Welsh ale in the local pub or discover the farm shop and butchers. Further along the estuary is Carew, where you can enjoy a lunch time snack in the pub and finish with a tour of historic Carew Castle and tidal mill, which is perched next to the scenic millpond.
The coastal resort of Tenby is just a 15-minute drive, where visitors can take in the glorious views over South Beach and out towards the Gower Peninsular. Take a boat trip to Caldey Island to meet the Cistercian Monks or sample some fine homemade chocolate. Local places to visit include Manor Wildlife Park, Folly Farm, Oakwood Theme Park and the picture postcard city of St David’s, where a visit to the cathedral is not to be missed.
