These two holiday properties are situated next to Batemans Brewery and its visitor centre, which provides a choice of food and beverages. Brewer’s Cottage (ref 28620 [Brewers Cottage]) is a terraced, former head brewer’s cottage which provides comfortable, good-sized accommodation on two floors. Yella Belly Cottage (ref 28621) is a single-storey, semi-detached property for two. An ideal base for those wishing to explore this area of Lincolnshire, the properties are on a main road just a short walk from the town centre. Wainfleet is a former port and the river is just 165 yards from the cottages’ front doors, ideal for those wishing to fish or enjoy the excellent walks along the river banks. The town has a good range of shops including a post office, supermarket and butchers as well as regular market days. The seaside resort of Skegness is just 6 miles away with its sandy beaches, fun fair, seaside attractions and two links golf courses, with Gibraltor Point National Nature Reserve just a short drive south of Skegness. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
