The Pottery in Buryas Bridge near Penzance, West Cornwall sleeps 2 people. The Pottery near Penzance is a comfortable, stylish, detached barn conversion in a stunning wooded valley. The open plan living space is flooded with light and tastefully decorated. The dining area and kitchen are fitted with all the basics including a washing machine. The cottage is set in mature and well maintained gardens, with private access to own lawn and small greenhouse. The covered barbeque area is private and a real sun trap, with exterior furniture, and a gas fired barbecue. The electric outdoor heaters will allow our guests to enjoy a glass of wine whatever the weather. There is dedicated guest parking area. The greenhouse is maintained throughout and available to use as a further suntrap or mini conservatory - so one can sit in and enjoy the garden even if the wind is chilly.
The cottage has a light and airy feel, yet on a cold winter night the wood burner will definitely help engender a cosier mood. There is a flat screen TV. Newlyn is a 3 minute drive, with its range of shops, pubs and restaurants. One can access three food stores, post office, two coffee shops, fishmongers, a specialist cheese chop, an art gallery, flower shop, among a few others.

Only 2 min further is Penzance with St Michael's Mount and a further array of small independent shops plus on the outside of town three of the bigger supermarkets. Both coasts of Cornwall are relatively close together here so to the south you will find the golden sands of Porthcurno, the Telegraph Museum and the Minnack Theatre, to the west are Lands End, Sennen Cove and Cape Cornwall while on the north coast you are not far from impressive rugged headlands and stunning beaches of Carbis Bay and St Ives, home of the Tate Gallery.

Ground Floor Only: Open plan sitting room / dining room and kitchen with comfortable sofa, large flat screen TV and a wood burning stove. There is a dining table and chairs and fully fitted kitchen. Sliding door leading to wet room with shower, basin and WC, further sliding door leading to the bedroom with 4'6" double bed and wardrobe.
Exterior: Private area with external furniture and gas barbecue. Off road parking.

Facilities & Services
Heating is via oil central heating. The kitchen has a range of modern units with an electric cooker & hob, microwave, washing machine, fridge with ice box compartment, kettle and toaster. Wi-Fi is available at the property. The sitting room has a flat screen TV with freeview TV. There is an iron and ironing board.

Miscellaneous
Electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are all included but you must bring your own beach towels. There is off street parking. We regret no smoking is permitted within the property. You will receive a welcome pack on arrival including a bag of logs for the wood burner, tea, coffee, milk and sugar. We regret no dogs at the The Pottery near Penzance.
