Details of Cleave Cottage
Cleave Cottage in Crackington Haven, North Cornwall sleeps 4 people. Cleave Cottage in Crackington Haven is an "upside down" cottage with a wonderful open plan kitchen / living space on the first floor and the bedrooms and shower room on the ground floor. The cottage has a lovely rustic feel with exposed stone walls in places, lovely thick window sills, the odd bit of uneven floor and brilliant beamed ceilings throughout. The Owners have some fine woodland for you to explore with footpaths to the nearby cliff top church at St Gennys. Cleave Farm is a simply delightful place to stay. Positioned at the end of a mile long private lane, it is no longer a working farm but 2 homes and 3 holiday cottages created from the old farm buildings. This is dramatic Cornwall at it's best. Only 150 meters from the spectacular cliff path providing some of the finest walking in the county and yet just a short 5 minute drive from the amazing beach and surf at Crackington Haven. The larger towns of
Boscastle and
Bude are just short drives away as is the wild expanse of
Bodmin Moor. Bude has all the facilities you would expect of a major resort, including some fine beaches.
The Guardian: "This place is gorgeous. Wooden beams, a high ceiling, and charming wonky floors and walls that mean you are in a “real” old house. Natural light pours through the windows, and outside are rolling landscapes of dewy-morning grass lit up by the sun – all accompanied by the sound of birdsong and bleating sheep."Accommodation at Cleave Cottage in Crackington HavenGround Floor: Master bedroom with a 5' double bed.
