century timbered granary, and the gleaming conservatory offers nostalgic views of the old thatched-roof cottages of Askett. These additions have maximised natural light in Brushwood cottage, and it streams through the open-plan ground floor that includes a modern kitchen with AGA, handsome dining room, and large family room.
The grounds are entered through electronically controlled double gates, and accommodate a stables with two friendly old ponies, large patio and outside dining area, and acres of lawn space lined with colourful blossoms.
The house has ample parking for several vehicles, but is also well connected to public transport links with London
