Enjoying its own small garden, it sits in the grounds of the owners' home just 150 yards from the local pub/restaurant in Gillingham, a small and peaceful village on the Norfolk/Suffolk border with good walking and bird watching on the the doorstep and the interesting market towns of Beccles on the River Waveney and Bungay nearby. Southwold (15 miles), Pakefield and RSPB Minsmere on the beautiful Heritage Coast, and Norwich city all invite exploration. Shops 1 mile.

We booked this cottage for a relaxing break away from work. It lived up to all expectations - a lovely cottage with everything you need. The hot tub was a bonus and somewhere to relax. The town of Beccles was about 20 minutes walk away, we had our dog with us so we had some nice walks along the river. The local pub was 2 minutes walk away so we were there a bit too. We will definitely come back and have already recommended it to friends. Thank you for a lovely time!

Our holiday at Beccles was lovely excellent place for walking with your dog, local pubs were very friendly and also dog friendly, our cottage we rented was lovely with the added bonus of a hot tub in the garden which was lovely. We will be going back again as we had a great time.
