Golf, cycling, gliding, riding and fishing are all nearby. The holiday was extremely relaxing and very romantic. The surroundings were perfect and even though we were there for a short time, the information guides were extremely helpful and we were able to make the most of our time there by visiting the areas we wanted to like Loch Leven was only a short drive away and it was brilliant being able to park at Dumfries train station so we could venture into Edinburgh without getting stuck in traffic due to the building work (tram lines). The owners Mr and Mrs Stewart are lovely, couldn't ask for nicer people!! The Welcome pack was the perfect touch after our drive from Cardiff to Scotland!!!
