With a spacious lounge/dining room and a lovely large kitchen, it provides plenty of space for relaxing. It’s within walking distance of Surf Snowdonia (one mile), the world’s first artificial surfing lagoon – why not watch the surfing action with a coffee on the terrace? Historic Conwy offers one of the most complete town walls in Europe, plus the mighty 13th Century castle, built by Edward I, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit Plas Mawr (Cadw), Aberconwy House and Conwy Suspension Bridge (NT) or take a walk along the quay where fresh fish are landed daily. A little further on is the Victorian resort of Llandudno with the famous Great Orme beckoning the visitor. In the other direction lies the market town of Llanrwst with its famous bridge dating back to 1636 and adjacent tea room, whilst Betws-y-Coed, the ’gateway to Snowdonia’ lies a little further on.
