Duxford Imperial Was Museum is situated just off the M11, in Cambridgeshire. Duxford was an RAF station, and is famous
for being the first base to operate the Spitfire. The museum became part of the Imperial War Museum in the 1970s, and
contains a variety of aircraft, as well as some ground vehicles too.
The exhibits are held in several buildings throughout the old airbase :
Air Space has over 30 different British and Commonwealth aircraft; both military and civilian.
