The Haven in St. Leonards, near Ringwood sleeps 4 people. The Haven near Ringwood is located in a residential area; this self-contained, single-storey annexe, forming part of the owners’ family home, is a great base for exploring the area. The Haven is a light and airy, tastefully furnished holiday property, which has a lawned private garden with apple and pear trees, and parking. There is a recreation ground and park nearby, to keep the kids entertained, as well as Paultons Park, home of ’Peppa Pig World’. Nearby Moors Valley provides excellent walking and wildlife spotting, as well as recreational activities such as golf, ‘Go Ape’, biking, fishing, orienteering, canoeing, pentanque, and Segway rides. Avon Heath is also close by, ideal for keen amblers. The New Forest National Park provides miles of scenic walks and a network of bridle paths and footpaths, and you can often find ponies and cattle roaming the streets in one of the many picturesque villages.

There is a water park nearby the charming town of Fordingbridge, which has a host of shops, cafés and eateries, and the gentle flowing River Avon is also nearby. Ringwood also has a good selection of shops and restaurants. It is convenient for road links to the cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury, Christchurch Harbour, and the coast, including Poole and Bournemouth. Other attractions include Marwell Zoo, Beaulieu Motor Museum, and the New Forest Otter and Owl Park. Maritime Southampton and various other tourist attractions are within easy driving distance, as is Stonehenge. The shop, pub and restaurant are 500 yards from The Haven near Ringwood.
