With a well-equipped kitchen, a cosy living room and two bedrooms with en-suite facilities, it is the perfect base for a relaxing holiday. Unwind in the stunning sun room, the ideal spot in which to sit and read, or admire the views over the well looked after garden. The private lawned garden offers a patio and a seating area where guests can enjoy a meal al fresco after a day exploring all this fantastic area of Derbyshire has to offer.
The village of Crich is steeped with character and history, and is famous for housing the National Tramway Museum which is located directly next door to Standcliffe Mews. Stroll to the range of local shops, several pubs and a wonderful coffee shop selling artisan breads and pastries, where you can even book to learn how to bake these goods yourself! Several lovely walks can be enjoyed around the village directly from the doorstep, and of course not forgetting the fantastic Derbyshire Peak District which offers some of the most beautiful views of the Derbyshire Dales. Matlock and Matlock Bath are close by and provide a range of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as wonderful family attractions such as Gulliver’s Kingdom, show caves, nature trails, water gardens and the Owl Maze. Do not miss an exciting ride on the cable car that takes visitors up to the Heights of Abraham and offers magnificent views down the gorge. To the south of the town is the start of the High Peak
Cycle Trail, while to the north is the market town of Bakewell, home to the famous Bakewell pudding! Chatsworth House
and Garden, Haddon Hall, Carsington Water with its fantastic selection of water sports are all close by offering something for everyone to enjoy in this wonderful part of the Peak District.
