The Metropol is located in the heart of Tallinn, walking distance from the historical centre or Old Town with its attractions and shopping district, with the airport only five kilometres away, the train station only one kilometre away and 500 metres from the harbour. The hotel was established in 1999 and was renovated in 2006. Each guest room is spacious and comfortable including en-suite facilities, satellite TV, telephone, and hair dryer and mini bar. There are rooms designed to accommodate disabled guests, those with severe allergies and non-smokers. The hotel has a new restaurant, cafe and lobby bar which offer breakfast and lunch buffets, supper, a la carte cuisine, light meals and a beverage for every occasion. The hotel boasts 2 conference rooms which provide a maximum capacity of 60 people and 30 people. They are both technically equipped with audio/visual aids and, as with the rest of the hotel, are fitted with WiFi internet access capabilities. There is a beauty salon and a sauna in the hotel, which are available for use at a charge. There is also ample parking, currency exchange, a luggage room, safe at reception, a public internet access point, iron, dry cleaning and massage service.
